We welcome Pete back after an episode away! Mike gives his take on who is most likely to fill the number 2 goaltender role for the Montreal Canadiens. We congratulate Saku Koivu on an outstanding career and recall our favourite moments. The Ryan Johansen contract negotiations took quite a turn this week with John Davidson, the Columbus Blue Jackets' President, taking to the media to get his side of the story out. We discuss his motives for doing so. Mike goes on an absolute rant about the prospect of putting ads on National Hockey League sweaters (hint: he doesn't like it).
The Montreal Canadiens have 3 goaltenders at camp and Mike and Pete discuss who is likely to get the backup role to Carey Price - Dustin Tokarski or Peter Budaj.
The Pittsburgh Penguins released their third sweaters for this season and this made Mike happy.
We speak briefly about Teemu Selanne's scathing words for Bruce Boudreau, head coach of the Anaheim Ducks and we give Justin Bourne and his blog on the Score some love for his Unique Team Traits series.
